Spring 2022 Road Clearing Project for the Cook County Highway Department

In Spring 2022, TNT Timber partnered with the Cook County Highway Department to undertake a significant road clearing project. Our team worked diligently to clear brush and fallen trees along key roadways, ensuring safe and unobstructed paths for travelers and emergency vehicles. By removing hazardous debris and improving visibility, we enhanced road safety and accessibility in the area. This project not only demonstrated our commitment to serving the community but also highlighted our expertise in handling large-scale land management tasks. Cloquet Forestry Center - Prescribed Burn Prep

It was an honor to be part of the project at the Cloquet Forestry Center, specifically in the historic Camp 8 section. Our team was brought in to prepare the area for a prescribed burn, which involved brushing the forest understory and clearing a perimeter around the base of these massive trees to shield them from the fire. This beautiful forest is a true hidden gem and definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the Cloquet area. As someone who values forest health and management, we appreciated seeing this magnificent place experience restoration firsthand.
